Founded by Josiah Precourt, a third-generation carpenter and licensed General Contractor with over 30 years of hands-on experience, Precourt Builds is known for its quality craftsmanship, integrity, and personal approach to every project. Since 2001, Josiah has led high-end remodeling and renovation work across Massachusetts and Rhode Island — specializing in bathrooms, kitchens, finished basements, home additions, and full-house transformations.

In 2009, Josiah built his own custom home — a project that sparked growing client interest in new construction. And in 2021, after relocating to the East Bay of Rhode Island and responding to increased demand for custom builds, Precourt Remodeling became Precourt Builds, Inc. Today, we proudly offer both custom remodeling and new home construction, delivering the same attention to detail and hands-on service we’ve been known for since the beginning.

We’re a true family-run business — with Josiah leading every project alongside his wife Melissa and their sons, Tristan and Kai. Josiah personally oversees every job, from the first consultation to the final walk-through, ensuring your vision is brought to life with precision and care.
